Candle or Flame Effect
« on: September 06, 2019, 08:19:04 PM »
I have placed a single orange LED into a Tiki Torch, and I am using a single DMX channel.  I was curious if there was an effect available that I could use to cause rapid flickering of the LED to give it the appearance of an actual flame.  Any help would be appreciated.

The problem with shimmer is it’s lack of randomness and it is either on or off with no intermediate.

The candle effect would probably work, I am trying to figure out how to apply to a single DMX channel.  The shimmer effect won't work, it's more of an on/off effect.
