Question on Snow Effect - Falling and Accumulating
« on: December 12, 2019, 09:19:24 PM »
I have two sequences in the same show directory one is complete and the other under development.  The Snow Flakes Falling and Accumulating effect seems to work differently in the two sequences, even with the exact same effect settings.  The first seems to act as I would expect.  In the new sequence, the effect almost appears simply as "sparkles".   Pretty sure I have some other setting screwed up but can't find it.
I have attached two video clips of the situation.  Any help most appreciated.

You put the effect on 2 completely different types of modes.  The second video is a group which has a much larger buffer.  Maybe use the "Per Model Default" render style.

Gilrock,
Thank you so much!  Your suggestion did the trick.  Just ignorance on the details of Xlights on my part.  Your quick response saved me an unmeasured amount of time and frustration.
Thanks.
