faces on a group
« on: March 15, 2020, 08:51:22 PM »
When it comes to doing more with the software I turn to the community....  I've got three Matrix located next to each other. I've grouped them into a single model.  I want to have a single face play across the group.  That way I'll have better resolution of the image.  How can I do that?  Currently groups don't have the layout capability that each matrix has.  Yes I can place the same face on each matrix but they lack the impact I'm looking for!

Gil?

What I did was create another matrix -- which is the size of the combined matrixes. Then make the  start channel for that equal to the start channel of the first matrix. Its an overlap, it will be flagged as an overlap but it will allow you to place effects on the one "virtual" matrix and it plays over the underlying models just fine.
