Lost effects
« on: March 24, 2020, 06:04:36 AM »
I'm working on a few sequences for Halloween and notice that all of my effects for my model Matrix window-2 are gone with all of the layers.
I went in and changed the model name to just Matrix window and when opening a backup of the sequence it allowed me to map the effects to the new name.
I wasn't given any warning or error in check sequence.

I also just noticed that when I put effects on the model with the old name when I opened the sequence when the effects were missing, and then opened the sequence with the renamed model I had 2 models with the old name to be mapped to the new name.

When I see a post like this with no files attached I just move on.

I was about to attach files when I figured something out.
The model had and unintentional space at the end of the name.
Xlights removed the space from the model but then would open the sequence without giving me the option to map or rename the model from the sequence to the new name.
It seems as though the data would just sit dormant in the XML file until I did a complete rename of the model.

Do you still want me to provide some files to reproduce this?
