Duplicate Model in xsq
« on: June 10, 2020, 02:10:42 PM »
I am getting a "duplicate model: second instance ignored" when I start a test sequence I created.  It is in the "new format".

Not sure how a second copy was allowed to be saved in the file.
This is a simple sequence to test a few props.

This duplicate most likely happened because you had a space in front of the name of the model.

Possibly, but leading spaces did not show up when I went into the .xsq file.  I use Notepad++.  Shows just about everything.

In any case, a simple delete of the extra line and all was well with the world again.

Just thought the occurrence may be of interest in that it was allowed during some write.

Yeah but what he meant is if you had one with the space and one without xLights would remove the space and then it shows as a duplicate so you would need to go back to before xLights changed it to see.
