Trying to get xlights to save on D drive not C

I have my xlights program on my D drive. but it saves everything to the C drive. Iv tried to change this in preferences but to no avail. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Mine saves to the D: drive which is also where I have my show folder.  Where is your show folder specified?
