Daylight LEDs ?
« on: July 11, 2021, 01:07:55 PM »
Looking for help on purchase of brighter LEDs.   We have a band show we are running and it is working :D and looks great at night.   However, during the daytime we cannot see anything once we get 20 yards away.    Running WLED, NodeMCU, xLights using "WS2811 LED String Lights" also tried "ws2812b eco strip".    We might run 4 strains tightly grouped, but thought there might be brighter LEDs that also run with NodeMCU.

Any suggestions on what to purchase?   Or maybe answer is: can be done but expensive?

All of the pixels we use are originally intended for outdoors, in daylight.  At 100% brightness we can see our panels in bright sunshine.  That fact is the reason why we have to tone them down to 20% at night.  The thing to look out for is that at 100% brightness your needs in the way of power supplies are much higher.
