Upload to PixLit 16 error

Hi,
Just getting started.  Followed user manual up to point to test and upload my sequence.  Using the PixLite 16 MKII
From the Advatek software I used the IP address that came up. When upload, I get an error:
Advatek Output Upload Failed. Unable to connect.
However it shows up on my Controllers list.

Maybe I will get it up an running for 2020 Xmas.  This has been off and on project for 3 years.

Being in your controllers list does not make the IP valid nor the network path to the controller available. Both need to be true for it to work.

I'm having this same issue.  Advatek has advised me it is an issue with xLights.  I know my network setup is correct as I can output to lights from xLights no problem.  We are using over 100 of these controllers so manual setup of the port config is something I would like to avoid!  It works great on Falcon!

I don't get why companies like that won't take a more active role in solving issues like this.  Would Advatek rather we steer customers away from their controllers?
