In addition to the Fade transition, allow transitions that "wipe" into black to have adjustable fade, or at least a default fade added using a checkbox.
Basically instead of a straight-to-black transition, the affected lights will ramp down to black, following the style of transition selected e.g. Wipe, Circle, From Center, etc...
A slider could be used to adjust the magnitude of the Fade in relation the the transition duration
