Converter Problem
« on: February 16, 2015, 08:20:50 AM »
I am trying to convert an LOR lms file to an xlight sequence so I can add some Nutcracker effects. Every time I try I get an error message & program closes. ( see picture below) What am I doing wrong??
I have not used xlights for some time & updated to version 3.6.15 this is when the problem occurred.

First thing to try is uncheck that box that says map channels with no network.

Inserting a link is easy.  Just click the globe in the second line of icons in the reply window and past the link in the middle of it. In fact after you click the button the cursor is right where you need to do the paste so all you have to do is press ctrl+v.  Pictures must be posted by using the attachment function below the reply window.

Watch this video and pay close attention to the network settings portion.
I see those unmapped channels in your photo.  If the channels are unmapped, there will be no way to add NC effects to them.

Yeah I have a few unmapped channels but it's done on purpose.   One is for a Beat Track where I like to just have the beats marked across the grid and the others are for my DIY ribbons.  I model them as CCR's so that I can easily copy/paste Superstar data onto the channels but when I export I don't want the 7 extra macro channels that are associated with CCR's so I don't map them to any networks.
