I have used the old x-lights for testing my DMX stuff. The latest NC XL is running a DLA Pixel net dongle and a Zeus. I can see the features and I have the lights laid out on the floor. Its very cool to see this work real time.
As I watched some of the tutorials I saw how nut cracker was being used to sequence. Having used LOR of the last 6 years I use the music wave form to see what the music is doing. With just placing the timing of events on the sequence grid is hard for me and it seems very time consuming. My request would include a wave form and a slider with the time running underneath. The user could stop the music at an "event", using add time to grid button have the time posted to the grid. I know there a few songs ppl have mapped out but every one likes to grab different things to use. Just my suggestion.
