Just Got back
« on: March 29, 2015, 03:25:04 PM »
I just got back from a seven week holiday, I have been following V4 sporadically, I just downloaded V4.08 looks good, will start playing with this, have lots to learn and many questions to ask, obviously there are some tutorials which I have not seen yet.
Question 1 do you have to use MP3's or can you use wave file?
I have used wave for all my music the last 5 years.
I know getting timing marks in the new grid is doable just have to watch the tutorials.
Keep up the great work guys.

The Wiki is back online and does have two XL/NC 4.x tutorials at the moment

Once more tutorials are created, they'll be linked on the Wiki page.

How do you get to the Wiki?   Click on the Wiki button on the top menu bar here.

Initially we coded everything to work for mp3's and there is an open issue to enhance it to work with other formats.  Right now we use the mpg123 library so we could easily handle any file it can open but we might not be including the other extensions in the dialogs that let you select the files.  Once we test other formats we'll add those extensions.

Thanks guys, my staff handled everything fine for the last 7 weeks, I had zero paper work on my desk, so I guess I will have plenty of time to start playing with the software. keep up the good work.
