Ramps: Up and Down
« on: April 04, 2015, 04:00:53 PM »
I'm sure this has been discussed b4 but I couldn't find a reference.

What is the easiest way to make a LOR like ramp in Xlights?

I'm currently using for ramp up: "on"  single color; Start intensity 0; end intensity 100.  All good!

But I can't get a color transition at the same time. For example: as the intensity increases the model changes from red to blue.

Is there a ramp effect that I don't know able?

colorwash will do the color ramp.
you need to set the fade in and fade out times.

we are thinking of making a shortcut key to do this using the mouse

If the ON effect is updated to use the entire color palette instead of just the first color, this would be awesome!

Otherwise right now you have to use Colorwash with fade in / fade out times and manual colors for the starting/ending strengths.
