exporting effects
« on: April 12, 2015, 04:44:54 PM »
Ok I am using 4.0.18 on a windows 8 PC I would like to know how to export effects to use on light o rama. With the 3.0 version all you had to do was set up a sequence make some timing marks, make your effect and hit export type in the name you would like to call it and it would export a LOR file that you could use. I am guessing that I am just not  doing something right.

We've been told it crashes trying to export.  It's another of the long list of issues for us to look into.

So how are you trying to do it cause I just tried it for the first time and it worked. I had a model with some effects and I right clicked on the name in the row heading and selected "Export Model".  I typed a name in the dialog box.  I open LOR Sequence Editor 3.12 and clicked Load Clipboard, navigated to the .lcb file that was saved during the export.  Then I clicked in the grid and clicked Paste and saw an array of colors appear in the cells.

I also have not been having any issues exporting my models to my lor sequences. Clipboard works just fine.
