Hi all,
I'm looking for any insights into how to layout my house better in xLights. I started 3 years ago with mostly static lights and an LED string megatree in my oval drive. 2 years ago I added 24 HDPE arches around the inside of the oval drive around the megatree and added a smaller megatree on the lawn. Last year I added the outline of nearly all my house eaves and roofline. Last year I used XL3 to generate effects for just the roofline and then added them into my existing LOR sequences.
This year I am hoping to move entirely to XL4. The problem I see with the layout is mostly with the roofline. I have those lights on 3 sides of my house (north, east & south), and I'm not sure what is the best way to represent this in the layout. I am also hoping to add a few things this year that are further away from the house. Lastly, I am adding a pixel megatree.
