Is the import of LMS files working OK in 4.18?

I'll have to try the SuperStar file later.  But I was able to import your LMS file as a data layer in probably a minute or less.  The mistake you may have made is the data is not rendered after the import so you gotta hit Render All or do a Save.  This is where the advantage of a Data Layer was shown.  The sequence using the LMS file as a Data Layer rendered in under 3 seconds.  That's because it pretty much just a memcopy to get the data from a layer into the sequence.

Hi Gil, just watched the video. Thank You. I thought I was already following what you showed....apparently not.

It has made things a lot clearer now on how to utilize my wowlights sequences.

Yes, you were playing the Rock Ye media on the Mad Russian seq. LOL

I'll try and see if I can get Rock Me to work, using the data layer.

Still confused on how to make these fit my actual 24x150 Mega Tree. I know it can, because I did it on a 12CCR sequence of Joy to the World.

Can you give some insight to make these seq. fit my 24x150.

Is the 12 CCR sequence in SUP or LMS format?

David I used the audio file you gave me.  You cannot import an LMS sequence and have it stretch to a different sized model.  You are stuck with whatever size the display element is in LOR.  That's why we are better.

I would just redraw the effects in xLights.

Well had some success on the 24x150 Mega for Rock Ye.

Looks like I have a lot of work ahead, being I'll have to use the matrix mult. on the lms seq. to fit my tree.

So far the 12 strand CCR seq. have imported and fit my tree just fine with the convert tool, so at least I got that going for me.

Gil etal, Thanks for taking your time to help me the best you could.

Now that I know of the work I have to do, I can  plan this out better....ugggh!
