USB Setup with a Mac Version of XL
« on: June 19, 2015, 08:41:32 AM »
Just in Case some of you are using the LOR controllers with a Toggle on a MAC:
SETUP Tab:
Network type: LOR
Connection Details:
Port: /dev/cu.usbserial-ABCDEFG Note: each Toggle has a different ID.  The ABCDEFG will be your toggle ID#; you don't need to know it for any XL application .
Don't use: /dev/cu.SerialPort...It will not work
Baud Rate:  set as indicated in the setup box, dependent on Max Channels
Last Channel: set as needed.

I've tested this with several toggle and LOR controllers

Glad someone tested this...  you're the first person I'm aware of to actually test the USB things on the Mac and report positive results.  :-)

Thanks!

Dan

I'm going to update to Yosemite on my MAC.  Any issues you may be aware of?  Are you running Yosemite?

I pretty much update my computers and ipads and things the day the updates come out, so yea....

I'm actually debating doing the public beta for El Capitan and iOS9.   :-)

What is a Toggle on a Mac?
