Effects not showing on models

I created a new sequence and am having trouble when it comes to effects. Here is what I have done.
Started in Setup and created channels
Created my models
Created Sequence using MP3'S downloaded from Amazon
Imported timing marks from Music Library in programs/xlights/music that matches song
Added models

All this went well and than I effects by dropping them on the models. When I play the music I see nothing in the whole house model nor the preview model. What am I missing here?

Hit the Green Gear button under IMPORT. That is the Render button.   There is a known quirk with 4.1.13 related to this.  Once you render, hit play and all will be well.

Thanks Steve that worked. Now I can move onto the tedious effects part as though building 137 trees wasn't tedious enough.Thanks again for your help at Expo.
