Setup CCBs on roofline, Marquee effect

Hey folks, still trying to get this figured out.   Anybody who uses CCB's on the eaves; could you tell me what you used to sequence them.   IE Single strand, bars etc.

I'm just not sure how to set them up properly.  I know Gil tried to help me at Expo(felt like crap) so not much really clicked for me.

Here is how the strands will be laid out on the eaves:
Set of 50 RGB bulbs, Controller, then another set of 50 RGB bulbs.

000000000---[]---0000000000    I have my channel layouts from Seans spreadsheet template. When creating the models do I create each individual strand set;(ie 50 bulbs); or do I create each eave set(ie 100 bulbs)

Once created, could I use Gil's marquee effect on the CCB's to march across the roofline, or is it strictly for matrixes.

Caveat: I have read some of the new Nutcracker Manual, but not all. Apologies if my question is answered within.  I'm in study mode for my Airline checkride, so not too much time spent on show right now. Just taking a break for a few from the technical stuff. When my checkride is over, I have to jump in with both feet, to try and finish my Christmas Show, a little behind right now.

There are so many changes going on, I just can't keep up right now.  Hopefully a "Sean Special" Vid and or NC/XL manual update is forthcoming.

At anyrate, if you have and or using CCB's on your eaves, could you give me a little info on your setup.

I forget how you said they were numbered but you should be able to make a custom model for the CCB's.  Were they like 50-49-48-47....3-2-1-Controller-51-52-53...98-99-100?  If so then just make a custom model and type the numbers in that order across the top row.  Or I'll make it easier.  Just create a new model, change type to Custom, make Model Width=100, Model Height=1.  Then select all the number between the dashed lines below and Control-C or your favorite way to copy to the clipboard.  Then select the A1 cell in the custom model and hit the Clipboard icon to the left of the Help button.  That should paste all the channel number into the correct order.  If I've got it numbered wrong then this should still give you an idea of how to set it up.

Also the Marquee effect will work just fine on a single string.  It makes it look like the Single Strand effect.  Other options are to use the Color Wash effect and add Sparkles.
