Data Layers
« on: September 07, 2015, 05:48:55 PM »
Have a question about data layers. I am using 32 channels of LOR this year as well as adding a pixel mega tree, 12 ribbon tree and pixel arches. I have noticed when I import a data layer from an LOR .lms file the channels imported are not the same and are much greater than just the 32 I am using.

The imported channels range from 4500 to 5600 in the five sequences I have done so far.

Does this make a difference or does it not matter?

Or is it not really channels but other information from the data layer imported?

Just wondering......

Thanks, Ed

Kinda depends on when you look at the dialog.  When you first import it should be the actual number of channels.  But later if you come back it will show the number of channels it takes to fill the entire sequence.  We wanted to fix that to optimize space but never got around to it.

Thanks Gil! I have attached what you wanted so you can fix it!  :)   ;)

Just kidding, so I take it really does not matter.

Thanks, Ed
