Just out of curiosity, is what you see on the preview close to what will be output to the lights?  For example, I added the colorwash effect and selected shimmer.  Will the frequency of the shimmer during playback on the preview be somewhat close to what will be output to the lights?

I'm not really at a point to test with lights, which is why I ask.  Hopefully by next week I can start to test with lights.

Thanks for your time,
James

It should be really really close.  I usually do my entire show using the Preview and I don't recall seeing something outside and needing to come back in and fix it for not matching.

If using 50ms sequences, it should definitely be really really close.   I *think* there is still an issue with 25ms sequences where the timer on Windows won't fire that quick, but I'm not 100% sure.
