So looking for ideas on the best setup xlights wise.
Using FPP with multisync this year and a couple of neighbors wanted to join the fun. So I created a few props for them to get started, nothing huge just a couple small pixel trees (3 ft/4ft/6ft), spinner and North Poles.
So in case they really want to expand I wanted to leave a little room at each house, so I setup like so (pixelnet universes)
Universe 1-4 at my house (I use an Etherdongle)
Universe 5 Neighbor 1
Universe 6 Neighbor 2
Universe 7 Neighbor 3
Universe 8-11 my house for p10 BBB
I've got all the stuff at my house setup/sequenced (universe 1-4, and 8-11) which gives me roughly ~600mb fseq file. Not a huge deal just takes forever to copy the file to the master pi and p10 bbb. Now the remotes since their signal will be a little less the 600 mb file would just take forever to copy over wifi. So I though about making another xlights folder with just the neighbor data/models to hopefully make the sequence file a little smaller.
Thoughts should I break it my stuff and theirs/keep it all together and just hope I don't have to change the sequence after I have it on the card/or break it out further each neighbor has a folder?
Thanks
