spiral is slow

When building my sequence I have the spiral affect going for just over two minutes. Because the time is so long the sprialing of the stripes is extremely slow. It seems the amount of rotations is a set number no matter the amount of time. Anyway of speeding this up. This is my first year so no music just a 22 foot and 13 foot mega trees and 4 @ t foot arches.

No I think when we got rid of the fit to time stuff we lost the ability to tell that effect and some others to just spin at a fixed rate. I think we need come up with something. Some people want a fixed number of spins and some want a constant spin rate because currently if you paste the same effect into different intervals it will spin different speeds in each interval. For your case just chain together multiple copies and each copy will spin faster.

Yes I was thinking of that but when it goes from one effect to another even though they are the same you get a blip or a quick flash and the spiral starts over in a different position. Or rotation spot. Not a fluid change.

Change the color or direction, and blip is gone. Nobody will know.

If the "Movement" is set to an integer amount (like 1.0), there shouldn't be a blip. That is one full rotation so it should be right back to where it started so the next spiral effect would be right there.

ok I understand your theory. I'll give it a try. I am new to all of this. I did 1 mega tree for x mas in july . I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in Xlights/Nutcracker. I have read the manual 4 times now each time picking up something new.

Ok so I did give it a try and yes if I keep the amount of time short, equal and the movement on a whole number then the transition is non noticeable. Thank You all for your help
