Last year I made a few singing faces in HLS with coro and Rays 27 channel controller. I am still planning on using it this year but with all the Papagayo discussion recently I'm hoping I'll be working more in xlights than HLS this year.
The limitation with my coro creation was it was a singing tree and that doesn't really work that well for Halloween. So this year I am hoping to get my big matrix fired up and design pumpkins and skeletons on the screen as my singers.
Has anyone created a pumpkin or skeleton model yet in nutcracker? My matrix is 32 rows and 90 pixels columns so I'm hoping to be able to at least get two people on the matrix at the same time singing. If so let me know how you did it.
The matrix is built but right now I'm struggling a bit with some bad quality strips from Ray - seems every day a new strip is failing at the seams (pun not intended but I'll leave it) so once I finished solidifying the strips I'll get to sequencing. Going to be a busy summer!
Anyways attached is a small sample of my matrix in the garage yesterday in action. Was also testing the fog machine.
