lost everything when i went to save any ideas

i had been working for a few hours on a song saving every 10 to 20 mins and when i just went to save it locked up and kicked me out.  i tried to go back in and it says "unable to load RGB effects file"  then it says ".xml parsing error:not well formed(invalid token)` at line 50. 

now when i try to go in to xlights it doesnt find any of my models or my house picture or anything.  this is version 4.24

download notepad++ if you have not already.  Open the rgbeffects file and look at line 50.  Fix the xml there manually.    You could also attach the rgeffects file to your post here so someone else could look at it.

If you have a recent backup of the xlights_rbgeffects file, rename the current one and restore the other one in its place.

look under the "backup" sub directory located in your show directory. every xml has been backed up there everytime you have been pressing F10. I have a hundred copies in mine since I press F10 every time I press save.

Look at the size of xlights_rgbeffects.xml from your show directory and compare to your backup.

maybe post the bad xlights_rgbeffects.xml.
