How to use pictures when using Raspberry Pi?
« on: January 15, 2016, 08:12:58 AM »
I was wondering how I could put a picture on one of my megatrees when using the RPI?   Xlights is "looking for" the picture file in a particular file folder location when using a PC to drive the display, and I am not sure how that works when loading files onto the RPI...  Thanks in advance.

Its not a problem because you don't run xLights sequences on the Pi.  You render to an FSEQ file and that is what you run on the Pi.  It will already contain the data for every frame.

Thanks Gil I figured it would be an "FSEQ" answer.   I really appreciate the info!!!  Conceptual error on my part...
