Incan Spiral Tree model

Is there a way to create a Spiral MegaTree model that will give a somewhat close representation of what the effects will look like on the tree? I am switching to xLights from Vixen 3 this year and am still trying to get a feel for everything. Vixen didn't really have a way to properly represent the spirals so it was a lot of guess work on how the effect would look on the tree.
Thanks!

What is a Spiral MegaTree...a bunch of A/C strings wrapped in a spiral? If so I don't think we provide a canned way to show that. You can draw your own custom model. Not everything in my yard is perfectly represented on my preview. I use a flat matrix to sequence things and I'm able to imagine how it will look once translated to the real lights.

Yeah it is a Mega tree with the normal strands up and down the tree but then you also take strings and wrap them around the tree to make a spiral effect. All AC channels, I'm running them with Renard SS24's.

On the Wiki , under Custom models - there are two spiral tree models that folks have supplied.
Maybe they will help ?

Those are actually LED/Pixel trees where it is a single strand, not the more traditional megatree wrapped with multiple strands of incans.
Thanks for the suggestions though.

Andy Harrison showed how he did it in a short video
