Diamater for top and bottom of wave
« on: March 13, 2016, 11:22:20 PM »
I have a previous wave pattern that has a rounded top and bottom.
The center part of the wave is almost vertical.
I call it a whip snake.

Instead of the wave just bouncing up and down,
I find your eye is hooked to a wave top and dragged to the end of the display.

You would just need an additional setting for top and bottom radius.
I tried most all the settings, and can not reproduce the effect.

Yeah it sounds real easy to just say provide parameters to round the top and bottom.  Unfortunately we actually have to create the math to accomplish the effects.  If you provide the pseudo-code to draw this waveform using those parameters then there might be a good chance it could be included.  I can't really tell how you plan to use this based on that picture.  I assume you mean you want the wave to move across something.  You can always just draw any pattern you like and have it move across an element using the Pictures effect with vector motion.
