left over bullets
« on: April 11, 2016, 06:55:02 PM »
So what is everyone doing with their left over bullets? I decided to make flakes. Each is a 6 sided with 7 nodes. I used 3/4 x 5 1/2 Azek  I pumped out 10 in an hour. I'll place them around my spinner.  Your ideas?

I cut about 5-10 as singles, strip and tin the ends of the wires. Ready to go as solder-in spares for when the inevitable happens when you have over 3,000 of them.

I'm the odd man out I have only 400 bullets and 2550 nodes with strip LEDs (7650 LEDs in the strips). I like my Strips.... So on those I carry a few extra rolls.  Picked up the bullets to make a spinner.  Bought 400 and only used 260 or so on it.

Thanks
Its sitting on its side here.  the top and bottom tubes have 25 nodes and they go down from there. 22 19 and 17 on the horizontals I used an eliptical for my pattern.  I draw out most of my stuff on Corel Draw first.     3/4 pvc tubes (1 1/16 outside)  with a 4 pvc coupler center and a lot of drilling. ( 1 1/4 on center) all the wire conections are in the hub.
