My laptop flaked out on me tonight and locked up xlights, browser, everything. After rebooting (third time tonight; laptop is really unhappy tonight for some reason), there was no longer any content in the xml file (2 kb). But, thankfully I had backed up about an hour before that, so I only lost an hour and not a whole night!!
So, as Sean has told us time & time again..... BACKUP!!
