Yep, really enjoying the stuff Gil, Dan, and Keith are producing. It's beta now, so things are bound to fall through the cracks.

So it's easy to see why he wrote the code that way.  The settings map used in the adjustSettings function has a prefix in front of every setting.  For the Render function the settings map has all the prefixes stripped off.  This is confusing me trying to figure it out.

Thanks to Gil this will be fixed in v22. A similar problem exists with videos in v21 as well. It is also possible you will see problems in piano and tendril.

The workaround in 21 is to change a setting ... any setting and then put it back again and it should work.

The workaround has to be done for each effect. So if you have a bunch that might get old quick.

It's probably better to wait for V22.

Yeah also if you save your sequence it will end up with extra garbage tags for all those symbols without the prefix.  They won't hurt anything.

Also to fixup an effect you can just hit the Update button instead of moving a setting.
