Lilia's Sequences Effect Question
« on: May 03, 2016, 11:40:10 AM »
I was looking at one of Lilia's sequences "Hallelujah Chorus" About 1:12 mark the middle snowflake starts with like single pixels and expands to fill the whole snowflake and then expands to the one above and below and they expand the same way and then onward the light the entire model set. My question is how is she doing this?

I ask this because I have a matrix with text that I would like to have a background start in the middle like a color wash and expand behind the text and not just turn on the entire matrix along with the text, but I am not sure how to do this.

Use how many layers and what other effects?
Thanks

Without looking at the sequence I would guess you are describing a Shockwave effect.  You can play with starting and end width to make it such that is fills up everything by the time it finishes growing.  You can also reverse the start and end radius values and make the effect shrink.
