Switching to sub models

If I was to delete custom models that I was using before the sub models were available. Would I have the option to select the submodel as I opened the sequence?

I don't think so. I believe I tried that and it wasn't an option. I just edited the xml files. Only took a few minutes per sequence.

Well that sucks. I just made up new candy canes to replace the custom model candy canes I made I just named them exactly the same thing. Wish I could do the same thing with the sub models. My OCD is telling me to clean things up now that the tools are available
