Gradient

I have figured out how to make a gradient. What I can't figure out is there a way to make the gradient work across the whole effect like vixen does. Meaning I can only get it to change the colors for the gradient but would like for it to display across the whole text showing all the colors on the text. Is this possible?

Gradients don't work the same as vixen. I've gotten it to work creating a photo using gradients then with vector motion move across the model.

There are probably other ways to do it, this is what I found easiest and worked more like vixen.

For a gradient across Text you need to use more than one effect and change the blending mode to do masking.
