Flights to vixen conversion issue
« on: October 29, 2016, 05:36:08 PM »
I am trying to convert an xlights sequence to vixen however when I try to save the xlights sequence it does not give me the option to save it as a .xseq in order to be able to search for it in the converter.

It only allows me to save it as a .xml xlights sequence.  Why are there no other options available in the pick list for save as type?

When I go to the about on xlights it says xlights 2016.50 for update version.

Is there something I'm not doing?  I need to get effects converted into vixen2 for this year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Look under tools, convert is under there.

In trying to "save as" a sequence built in xlights. Only "save as"option is .xml
Then when going to convert in tools, .xml is not a recognized file type for conversion

Only option under the convert tab is .xml
I think we're just missing a step somewhere maybe

There is no convert tab anymore. Top left corner, click on tools, then click on convert. This opens the convert dialog. You select the file to convert and the output. There is no option for XML, you will use fseq.

Yep, I see output format is vix 2.1 sequence or vix 2.1 routine.  Take your pick.
