I finally figured out why I couldn't ever get my models to load in the right order.
I have(had) a view called ALL MODELS. When you create a new sequence, one of the quick start options is All Models in addition to the views you created. Since there were two "views" with the same name, xLights didn't know which was which, so just loaded them up in random order. I changed the name of that view to EVERYTHING and now when I create a new sequence and choose EVERYTHING for the view to load, it loads all the models in the exact same order in the Master View.
Problem was me, but it took me awhile to figure out why it wasn't working for me the way it was intended.
