I can't figure out how to setup a "standard" order for the master view when creating a new sequence.  Every time I start a new sequence the models are all jumbled and I need to spend 15-20 minutes moving them around to get them into the right order.

I have a view that is all models. It is the exact same as the master view. When creating a sequence I select this view. Then the master is the same.

Another option is to create a template sequence.

The same window that allows you to move the model order has options to create additional views.  So create one and then select it when creating a new sequence.

As others have said, create a separate view that has all of your models in the order you want them in the Master View for new sequences.  Name this view something other than "All Models"     I named mine "Everything"

When you create a new sequence, after you select the timing, you have the option to select a view before choosing quick start.  Choose "Everything"   Then a new sequence will open with the View set to Everything.  Click on the Master View and you will see the models are lined up the same way.

Yeah I don't know how to reduce the confusion.  The issue is most users assume the Master View is global but really when I created that functionality the Master View was intended to mean the master view for this particular sequence.  We don't require every model in Layout to exist in every sequence so the master view is really the list of models that you've added to each particular sequence.  So it's really the only view that's not a true view.  It should really be named "The models in this sequence" but that would be kinda long.

Sometimes you just can't remove all confusion. I think it's up to the user to learn the software.

What about local view or sequence view, if you are interested in a name change. I'm fine with it, but I'm also used to it.

Name change wouldn't bother me but maybe the user manual writers...lol.
