This is really strange to me. OK, working on Most Wonderful Time.
Got the LMS stuff import just fine. I import a holidayseq. sup 16CCR tree file to my Mega Tree.
Looks Fine.
I then use the same sup file and import it to my left 128x96 P10 panel. Looks great. Fills the panel perfectly.
I then repeat for my front P10...imports fine, looks great on panel. Height and width fill the panel.
Repeat fro my right P10, this is were the problem comes in.....after import the images are shrunk in that panel
the effects fill the screen, but any images are smaller and compressed, compared to the other 2 panels and mega tree.
I deleted the rt P10 panel stuff, did another import, same result.
I then deleted both mega and rt P10. imported the rt P10 first with sup file I have been using.
Imported fine. All 3 P10 panels look great now, each image has the right perspective.
Now, I reimport the mega. When it renders, now it's perspectives are all off. The images are stretched on the tree. Effects still look fine.
Redid rt p10 and mega again. Would rather have tree looking good, since it's in front of the rt P10.
Now a caveat. These results are what was showing in XL ,53. I have not actually run them on the panels for testing. They may be perfect on the actual; panels. Will follow up when I get to that point.
If not, and XL is showing the model layout, the right panel will look compressed.
Another issue just showed. Working on Christmas Can Can, Again using a Holidayseq sup file for P10's and Mega. I imported on the P10's first, then Mega. After saving/rendering; the front and rt P10 images are compressed. The mega looks fine, and the left p10 looks fine with images.
Again, haven't tested on actual panel, this is just what XL is showing on the layout and model screens
Noted: if I click on the scale to fit on the image, it will give it a normal perspective now. But, that is a lot of images to edit.
Don't know why this is happening. Would sure like to solve the issue though.
ONe more thing. I created an image folder separately from the sequence folder. Each time I imported the sup file, I reselected that folder again, and used the same image name. Could that affect anything, as far as created the layouts on the models?
Open to ideas.
Best,
David
EDIT FOLLOWUP: Ok I think I solved the mystery. Apparently XL doesn't like it when you use the same named image files.
I redid Can Can, except I renamed the sup images each time. I kept the initial name just added a number to each P10 and Tree to the mega import. So far so good
