Changing timing marks
« on: October 15, 2014, 05:21:41 PM »
Hello All
Don't know if it belongs here.
But I am finding that if I have to modify a timing mark del or add one. I am getting an effect that was not completely written over. I guess to fix this is to color wash in black a section of time and then put the marks back in place and the effects???

Having the correct marks to start very important especially when using audacity  is not possible....Trying to match another sequence in SStar no way to get the marks of Super Star that I know of but to manual add them.

Is it possible to get the marks out of Super star?
Can I get the marks out of the LOR sequencer?

Thanks
BP

Another way is to refresh your Xseq file. This will clean out any artifacts that might have been created. To do this make a copy of your xml sequence fil.
Example
Wizards,MP3
Wizards.lms
Wizards.xseq
Wizards.xml

Delete or rename Wizards.xseq
Now create a new sequence from a sound file (3rd option of open)
Use Wizards.mp3 as the sound file.

Now press save and a new Wizards.xseq is created without the artifacts. When u press save it will use the existing Wizards.xml file.

I was coming into the forum to post a similar problem I am thinking. I have a model that is holding on red colorwash when I clearly have ''none/none" in all the timing boxes. the real question is why is the colorwash in that model? I am using colorwash for a beat track for when I export to vixen, but no colorwash on the model in question.

None, none is confusing. It means what effect should be generated for this cell, none indicates to generate nothing (in other words leave alone whatever is there). If you really mean blank, blank then use a colorwash of one color equal to black. None, none allows u to generate effects on your rgb arches, eaves, megatree using your old sequencer and tells xlights NOT to step on top of it

I only put none so that the effect would stop playing. I was able to fix the issue I had though.
