Models not aligning as expected.
« on: February 05, 2017, 11:03:01 AM »
I have a model alignment question. It was my understanding the if you grouped 2 or more models together, right clicked on the group and selected align, either top bottom etc that all the selected models would line up respectively.
I tried it in the latest release of xLights 2017.2 and it does not seem to work. I would like to know if I am doing something wrong or it does not work as expected.
A video of the question is here:

Just tried. It doesn't work for me either. I guess it must be broken because I know it used to work.

Hold down the control key and left click each model you want to align. Then right click align top or bottom.

Yep, he's right. You have to select via click, you can't drag a box and select, which is how I tried. You know you select when the blue boxes appear.

You can drag a box to select them all then control click the model you want to be the reference model for the align.

Thanks, it is just one of those things you forget that is not quite so obvious.
