While I realize I could setup models of all 20 of my megatree strings, I would love to see a NC ability to set effects to run on single strings of my megatree without having to build what seems like a LOT of individual models.  For example, last year I saw a 180 tree display in the Flowood, MS area in which a meteor effect went up a certain string, then slowly across to another string then down that string.   Anyway, something like that.  It was really beautiful--done to MS' version of Silent Night, by far my favorite.

thanks.

I recently created 24 models for each leg of my Megatree. All that just so I could sequence the THX Broken intro with individual legs flickering/etc to the audio.

One very cool item I discovered is that when I changed the legs from Vert matrix to Arches, then did Group all Arches on Single strand, you can get a synchronized rainbow type meteor down your tree.   It's really a chase but it's down all legs at the same time.  No other built in effect will do that that I've found.

THAT is a feature that could be added to the Meteor effect.

That's cool fly.   I like the idea of setting up all the "legs" so you can do the THX robot thing--I love that little ting.   I have been thinking about how to do that with RGB elements--your idea is a great one!!   I stumbled across something kind of similar to what you are describing--I think I was using a rainbow butterfly with meteors as an "Unmask" if I remember correctly--this kind of created rainbow meteors, but different than you are describing for sure.....
