I am trying to learn about groups and views, watching this utube video

I have pretty much followed it step by step and created an "All Groups" view, however when I try to add my groups they are not there.
at 6:10 in the video it shows a pop up box.
When I follow the steps my pop up box looks a little different, (not to surprising the video is a 8 months old so there may be some changes)
I can find them under the "Master view" in a box to the left of a similar pop up box, but I can add them to the All groups I have created.
When I tried to delete "All Groups" I got the bug error and Xlights crashed.
SO I have added the zip file to this post, but my question is, given the view tab, do I really need to create groups too? or are the pretty much the same thing?
Ok so I sorted part of it, had to add my groups to the master view first.
