well not a big problem but for one   the f16v3 only has 3 as far as I can see.   and if I am correct,  you can't place more that one an a half CCB boxes on one port.   I do have one CCB box where I only use one side....  so I could daisy chain my CTB 16 ch then to me full CCB 100 pixels, then to my half full CCB for a total of 166 pixels which will fit into one Universe.   but that would leave me 3 more CCB boxes

which brings me back to one of my initial questions.   in the above daisy chain....   Should I assume that if the ctb box is fisrt, it would default to channels 1 thru 16...   the next full CCB would start out at 17 .  and say the last pixel of the second CCB box would end at the 498....

any problem with having half of a model running via e1.31 thru an expansion board and other part via the serial port?

Well the F16v2 had 4 so I guess one got dropped in the board redesign.  You could probably chop the ends off those CCBs and run the pixels from the Falcon.  The units are not going to just default to a particular channel you will have to program them.  So find some LOR documentation for configuring your hardware.
