Video question
« on: January 07, 2018, 03:02:52 PM »
Hey All,

Hope everyone had a good season...

I have question about using an mp4 and the video effect.  Is there a way to reduce the size of the mp4 so that it doesn't display as large on my PMT?  I played with the maintain aspect ration and that helped but it's still too the video is still too big.

I know you can resize a .gif for the picture effect by going to the ezgif site....  so that the gif 'fits' the PMT/matrix.  I was wondering if there was a similar approach for mp4's.....?

Thankx....and Happy New Year.....

Now.....get to planning for 2018!   ;D

Do you want it to still take up the whole panel?  If not just draw a smaller sub-buffer in the Layer Settings panel.

Thanks Gil....

You read my mind....don't want to take up a whole panel....but I had no clue that you could do something like that (smaller sub-buffer).  This program has so many bells and whistles that it boggles my peanut brain.....but that's a good thing!   :D

It makes me wonder just how many more cool things I'm missing out on!

I'll play around and see if I can figure that out.....

That ones easy.  Just drag out a square in the black box.  You can double-click inside the box to reset it to full size.
