Is it possible to add an option for us to not have a graceful ending?

Im trying to setup a schedule as a test for this years show and I want to run a 10 audio tracks in a schedule that loop from the time my show ends (11PM) till the time it starts (5PM the next day). The issue is at 5PM the MAIN SHOW starts but the audio tracks schedule pauses, doesnt "reset" meaning at 11PM when the main show ends the audio schedule kicks in as it should but starts in the middle of a track that it stopped on at 5pm. I want it to always start on a specific track in a specific order though.

If I could end the audio schedule at 5pm abruptly so it resets back to beginning and then start the main show at 5:00:05, I would be all set

thanks for any consideration into adding this!

Yeah we really didn't need a 3rd post to talk about this same issue.  You know you could probably solve all your problems if you just told it to end at 10:59pm.  You do realize that the way Keith coded it the playlist doesn't stop on the minute you want its the value you enter plus one minute.

yes I realize thats the way its coded but it does a graceful ending still carrying over past the time and then when it gets cut off at 5pm it pauses, it doesnt stop and reset to play again at 11

Being nothing was getting solved in the other post I figured I would add this as a request to have it stop and not finish out the current audio track, honestly no need to have an attitude about it, its a request being there was no answer on how to solve the issue, any answers so far do not solve the issue

and I just ran another test like you said to end a minute earlier and same result so that doesnt work either,

I ran a test starting an audio track at 9:18 and ending at 9:19, then a sequence starting at 9:20 and ending at 9:21 with a higher priority

at 9:20 the sequence cut off the audio tack playing as it should but paused the audio track so now later when the show is over and I want to rerun the audio track, it is starting 2 minutes into the song where it left off instead of the beginning of the track

Keith says 25:00 into his video here that the audio sequence "suspends" so its doing what its supposed but my enhancement request is to have it not suspend and actually stop and rest back to track 1 and wait - http://videos.xlights.org/xschedule-walkthrough-and-qa_4671c50b5.html

I don't have an attitude I'm just good at causing others to have one...lol.  You posted on the forum, then Facebook, and then into this different category on the forum.  No one besides the developers are going to fix this so making us read the same thing in 3 places is just annoying.  Its probably Keith that will decide if he wants to make a change to help out with what you describe and posting it under "Enhancements" doesn't all of sudden make us look at a change in a new light.  This section can be ignored as easy as any other section.  Posts on the forum just get buried...if its not in the recent list of 10 posts its out of sight out of mind.  You can post the issue on GitHub but its gotten well over 100 issues so many just get ignored if no one is interested in doing them.  But keep on saying I have an attitude that will really help get the change done.

my point in adding in here is the other posts were questions on how to do it and there were no successful ways, I dont want to assume that because it wasn't figured out meant that it would be considered as an addition in the future. I figured if I wanted an option added, here would be the best place, the other posts were to see if I actually needed the enhancement first which it seems I do. I do apologize for saying you had an attitude, I love the software and you know I think all you guys are amazing at what you do, just not sure of the exact protocol of getting a request in

This is the best spot:
https://github.com/smeighan/xLights/issues

We also have a private issue list we work on where it allows the developers to discuss options without outside input.  So if we see a need from a post like that sometimes we just add it into our own list.  I can only speak for myself when it comes to the forum I almost never go back and review old enhancement requests.  I do review the GitHub list periodically and its useful for all the users to read through the list also to avoid duplicate requests.
