AC Spiral Tree Help
« on: July 28, 2018, 01:40:43 PM »
I am trying to setup my AC spiral tree & have 16 strings of 50 lights, individual start channels. When I set it up for some reason xLights uses 2 channels per string. What did I do wrong?

I don't know how those values got there but once they are stored in the model they don't change unless you type over them.  So just type whatever you want.

Yeah I need to look at how they are initialised. Someone else told me they were odd yesterday

Yes but that just makes the defaults give the same result as if you weren't using individual channels.  Bottom line is if you are using individual channels they aren't going to be contiguous so you'll be typing in your own channel values.

I get that Gil. But one reason for using individual channels is say a 4 strong tree with a star at the end of string 2 so having string 1 and 2 right means you only have to update strings 3 and 4.

It also makes more sense when someone clicks the box that it would show what they currently are before they go change them.
