Spinners exporting wrong colors
« on: November 14, 2018, 10:52:38 AM »
I have an issue when spinners are converted to LOR, and then imported.

I have 3 Spinners - each having 12 legs, 8 pixels per leg.  Starting location is Center - Counter Clockwise.
First the good news.. white renders as expected (RGB on for all pixels)

When I use Red to turn on all of the pixels, sometimes the Red and Green are on, other times the Blue is on, some pixels are skipped.
When I use Blue, sometimes the Red is on, other times the Red and Blue are on.  Some pixels are skipped here too.
When I use green, sometimes the green is on, other times blue is on.

Not sure what is going on.  I have tried deleting the spinners and recreating them.  Same issue.

I have other RGB elements such as window frames, and strings which all render correctly.

I am using version 2018.44

So it works fine out of xlights but not in lor. Sounds like a difference between your lor and xlights configurations.

I wish it were that easy.

Even before applying the configuration file in LOR for the converted file, I can see the wrong colors for those channels.

After deleting everything a rebuilding - I was able to reproduce this.

When I group only RGB elements into my "House" group, everything is fine.
I have a group called "Garland" that is made up of non-pixels - I defined those as "single color intensity" elements.

When I convert a sequence with those, it throws off the spinner colors as I described before.

Putting the Garland on a separate line in my View does cause any "corrupt" colors in the spinners.
