Video Card impact on xlights performance

What impact is there when considering the Video Card used when programming and rendering in xLights?

The price of top end cards is dropping a bit so I wonder if upgrading will make a significant difference in render times?

My current card is now low on the performance scale for gaming but works well (and I don't game).

Pretty much zero impact on rendering.   Its only impact is on the preview panels.

That's what I thought but, with Christmas coming, it might have been a good present to buy myself. :)

Perhaps a Commodore 64 mini
