Building a Matrix
« on: January 01, 2019, 02:04:23 PM »
In my 2019 show I want to have a matrix at the base of my 180 deg megatree so I can do effects like a train running around under the tree  I purchased Cromomesh 1".  I plan on a 30 pixel tall x 168 pixel long matrix with 1" pixel spacing.  I'd like to avoid power injection so I plan to control with (2) E682's,  Using 15 channels on each controller with 168 pixels per channel.  using 12V 2811 bullet pixels from Ray Wu.  When I build the matrix do I  start at the lower left hand corner moving up and then down on the next row or does it matter as long as my model in xlights matches the physical setup?  I could also use any help on how to sequence a train and few cars running around the tree on the matrix.

Actually since my matrix is 168 pixels long and I want to use 168 pixels per channel ......I'll just start each channel on the left and run them across the matrix.
