XSchedule Light Bulb
« on: December 18, 2018, 09:27:50 AM »
In XLights, in the top left corner,
I cannot figure out the difference between the 3 light bulb modes.
I understand that the green light bulb is 'output to lights" but what about the red bulb with the gear icon ?
I tried looking in the manual but found nothing.
Grateful for the support,
Michael

I assume you mean xSchedule but you mentioned both that and xLights.  Did you try clicking it?  Usually a gear indicates settings.  Don't be afraid to click buttons.

OMG, I'm an airhead. I did mean XSchedule.
I cannot identify anything different when the red bulb with the gear icon is showing.
I understand when it is a green bulb, that is turning on the output to lights.
Grateful for the support,
Michael

Red bulb means its off.  If you hover over it the tooltip tells you.

The gear means it will automatically turn on or off when something is playing. Without the gear the state is locked and won’t change unless you do something.
